Hello friends! Join International Friendships for a trip to Arthur, Illinois, to enjoy the Amish culture, on Saturday, October 5th! We will have a great lunch in an Amish home, tour the Amish farming area, and end with a stop at the Great Pumpkin Patch for some fall harvest fun – see their website at  the200acres.com  Space is limited for this event, so sign up early! Cost per person is $35 (cash only – no credit or debit cards accepted). This is to cover the cost of the lunch, entry fee for the Great Pumpkin Patch and transportation. Bring extra cash if you wish to shop. You will be notified about when and where to meet for transportation. Please fill out the sign-up form completely. If it rains, we will still have the Amish lunch, but may substitute some drier activity options around the Amish area to fill out the day. Please take your reservation seriously. Since food will be prepared specifically for you at an Amish home, you must let IFI know by Thursday evening, October 3rd, if you discover that you cannot attend. We will then have time to contact persons on our waiting list to take your place and avoid having to charge you for the meal. This will be a wonderful opportunity to be together and enjoy the fall harvest season in a very special setting! We are really looking forward to spending the day with you!
